Best Personal Ship?

So what would you say is currently the best personal ship to fly?
I think the last time i used a dragon because of the 6 weapons and 2 turrets but was not that great.

You follow on from the HQ plot. I think it's a really easy mission. If you're good at maths you'll solve the puzzle at the end easily.

It would be cool if we could add that cloaking device to any ship. Has anyone tried copying the appropriate XML from the Owl to another ship? Maybe the cloak is tied to the ship itself, or maybe it's an added tag, since the Owl is just a version of a generic Paranid ship.

I don't know if I still have save where I own that ship.. I'll have to check into it someday.

Do you mean the Litigious Rodent? That cloaks. The Geo Owl does not.

It's very easy to get confused in this game. So much to see and do.

Oh don't ever leave the Litigious Rodent undocked. You will lose it if you do. Get that baby into storage.

Oops yeah the Geo Owl does cloak for Terran. I told you it's easy to forget things in this game lol. That's what makes it so bloody awesome.

The Xshuttle from timelines if the beta goes through as described in the linked below post will most likely be the best all around personal ship to fly.. only rivaled by the Yasur from the collector edition.

Falx has become my ideal personal ship of choice.

Pros:
- Very manouverable for whatever reason (reminder, Falx is a frigate)
- 4 frontal guns and 2 turrets is comparable to Split's Cobra frigate, this is a corvette tier loadout on a big brick.
- Unlike Cobra, you don't have to sacrifice any survivability to achieve this firepower, you have great shields and good hull
- Goes from full travel speed to a full stop in a single second (even when fully modded). I have no idea how this ship stops this quickly, but it does. Makes it really easy to get out of travel mode and stop immediately.
- With Terran combat engines the acceleration on this ship is incredible. Whenever you're in trouble, just press the boost button for a second and you disappear.
- S ship dock is a nice bonus.

Cons:
- Slow speed and travel mode. But that is very easily solved by using modifications. Decrease mass, drag, and increase forward thrust on the engines and it will be fast both in travel mode and in combat, and almost as agile as a fighter.
- EXPENSIVE. At least early on.

Did you know in OOS combat if you put a Gladius with meson streams docked on the Falx it will add its dps to the Falx its riding on? so a Flax with Meson stream + a docked Gladius with Meson Stream does almost 90k Burst dmg... haha its crazy for OOS combat.. kills destroyers with ease!
