BTW my avarice is bugged the teladi guy died in his space suit cannot pick him up to complete the mission known issue i'm aware of.

I didnt see them go to war in like over ... idk many hundrets hours. Dont know why they have such a large fleet.

And yes you cannot continue on that plot so no Astrid. I feel for ya. I did it myself. I think it's because we flew away and left him to the tide? But yeah I couldn't find him and without him there is no protectyon or Astrid.

You sure about that last part? I dont see why you shouldnt be able to just use the anomaly to get into the sector, bet nobody ever tried.

Yeah dumb bug I have way to many things to do I shouldn’t be punished for putting off a quest… maybe it’ll get patched.

We can get into the sector it’s the fact his ship is there but his spacesuit is gone

I honestly think he ran out of air.

Edit: you mean the very last sector in the quest line gotcha (I completed it on another play through)

But I can’t advance the quest that’s the sucky part

No i meant the Astrid and Protectyon Sector Leap of Faith. Meaning just skipping the whole story inbetween you forgeting the poor Teladi and going trough the Anomaly.

I'm not sure why but in my current play through VIG was trying to kill MIN shipyard, which had it's faction rep in it. (one jump from VIG space) I had to intervene and help MIN rebuild/recover. It was fun and I was finally able to finish the Avarice quest line.

lol no didn't know that? For me it was a very old save long deleted. But yeah never thought of that. Nice one.

These days I make sure I do it properly. In fact it was the last quest I did and am now the proud owner of an Astrid. I'm still looking for the other one.
