The faction are much smarter about killing xenon
I also enjoying some the QOL it introduced
I've been playing the 7.0 beta on the base game (no dlc's enabled) and the bugs are very minor, most notably there isn't any bugs with mining and prices.
Betas are for reporting problems you find and helping the Devs improve the game ; it's not meant to be a freebie extra update.
Think of it like driving a prototype car compared to an already completed one. The prototype is literally being worked on by mechanics as you drive; it will stop and start as they see what works, and they hope for reports on it from you. It isn't really for your enjoyment yet, it's for you to help the Devs improve it and iron out as many potential problems as possible.
If you want a finished game do the 6 version and wait for the completed 7 version; if you don't mind a game's that's gonna be super-buggy as it receives reports as the Devs fix it almost in real time, then run the Beta.
It might actually be better to start on the stable version. There is less chance that saves will become corrupted.
