As for traders you can:
- set them to comply and drop off cargo. Better than nothing, since money isn't really a problem in the game, but time you spend on babysitting AI is.
- use Barbarossa as an L trader (which is considered as a military ship and doesn't get scanned by pirates), use Split M Boa with Split combat/travel engine MK3. Additionally you may want to install speed mods above. Yes, its quite tedious but its one time effort since it makes Boa almost invulnerable OOS.
- obtain peace treaty with pirates (reputation). Terraform Scale Plate Green, you don't really have to achieve all terraforming goals. Reputation with SCA gets unlocked after first made project, then you may abandon terraforming and proceed in increasing rep further by completing SCA missions.
Split FAF -> look for FAF missions at FRF station dataleaks.
VIG -> repeat orders trading + station missions.
YAK -> really only a problem in the beginning of the new game, then they run out of resources and become almost harmless.
As for Avarice: either use L traders or install hazardous damage reduction mod. Yes, you've asked to not remind you that, but shaking the air won't help you. Mod will.
Once again no sense in complaining. Most likely none of major issues will be addressed before game become abandoned cause of X5 development.
I find it really stupid to have a fleet of traders parked near the VIG Keepsafe, for some reason they drop a lot of water on space, one of your pilots decide it is a good idea to collect the water and the keepsafe turns red killing all ships nearby...
So far i have not find a way to disable this behaviour. So i just blacklist the VIG sector.
already planning to do all those and those thing are still far away for some time, cause, you know, new save and all. those 500k for low end M trader might be chump change for late game save, but you know, for first few hours of gameplay it's still a fortune and every m ships you lost means hours wasted doing taxi quests, cause, you know, new save.
more micromanagement I guess
I'm able to become multibillionaire within first 24 hours. With proper optimizations I guess time can be reduced to several hours cause of, you know, experience.
If you want suffering and ranting its your legal right.
I'ts funny so I'm not complaining
