[STATEMENT TO DEVELOPMENT] Collector's Edition

I find since the creation of the collector's edition had been released that numerous DLC were not added to this .

I feel this entirely defeats the purpose of buying a collector's edition and promotes lack of faith in development.

I hope in the future you'll consider adding all DLC to the collector's edition or give a massive discount to those that purchase these.

Personally I would have waited for my purchase if I knew these things were not added.

It's in the name " Collector's edition" if you're not "collecting" all the DLC its not a "collection"

I bought this well before release and it was very clear you get two expansions. We got the two expansions.

It isn't obvious why they shouldn't be able to make and sell additional expansions after that. Why would we want to stop that happening?

The CE included the first 2 DLCs - that was clear from the very beginning. CE versions are not about "having all DCLs included".

An example: I have the CE for Starfield for 299 €. This includes "only" one DLC (the first one) and some gadgets (watch, credit chip) etc.

Yes this needs to change because we as consumers are being just charged more for an incomplete game

Nothing needs to be changed, it was crystal clear what you get when you bought this version. TWO DLC's, not Four TWO, how do get the other Dlc's you may ask? Like everyone else did, buy them.

I don't agree. The extra expansions after the two they planned/we bought are gravy, nice additions to have and by no means required.

I can see how it is expensive, though, and can sympathize. Doesn't the Community of Planets edition offer a nice discount, kinda like a "season pass"? I can't see the price for your situation but I think it should be discounted.

You got what was promised + there was an insane amount of updates given out completely for free by egosoft. Just look at the latest announcement for update 7.0 .Some people still believe that game development is cheap. This costs a lot of money to produce. No need to rant here.

Can you point to any "collector's edition" where the company said "you'll get the first N DLC" but then tossed in N+1 DLCs when they decided to add more? Because I can't think of any instance of that.

It does. One can use the "complete your bundle" option, get the elements one doesn't own yet, including an additional bundle discount.
