How come Ant/Arg buy Protein Paste? What do they use it for?
Some Ant/Arg traders come to my protein factory every now and then to buy protein paste for some reason.
Can't it only be turned into terran mre?
Can they eat those?

No they cant use it but they can sell it to mre factories.

Some traders the AI use are just set to "Fill Shortages". They will buy what ever they can sell the most of.

The segaris pioneers also use terran tech and they aren't enemies of Argon and Antigone, so they can trade terran only resources with them.

The same is said for Terran did you know that the Teladi can trade with Terran to supply you with your wares
