On the "crew" tab of the ship's info panel (I think it's the second tab).
One important point I've noticed is that the captain of the destroyed ship always seems to be among the survivors (last one to abandon ship my ass
I myself now need to try this "slider thing" next time I rescue crew.
It WOULD still be nice to be able to transfer crew to station, I am still curious what that option is actually for if it is always greyed out (outside of say, the faction jobs to transfer over x number of managers etc). Would be kind of nice to dump your rescues onto a station, in time you'll see them walking around again and you can re-integrate them back into your workforce that way. Anyway, all is good for now, thanks for the answers!
True, I did not check this statistic first and may have tried a full habitat one. I'm sure I've done the reverse before, Xen K or such attacked my main station and I did an evacuation and remember moving everyone off the station crew list, into a Split ship, down to the manager and we were the last off. Can't remember how I did that now either lol but thank you still some things to investigate then! (and will leave this thread up haha)
I'll get my coat...
