I made a budgeded start with the erlking core already researched. I build one, then I boarded the already existing one and for some reason I was able to build a 3rd one after that. No mods, no cheats and im able to unlock stuff because it’s a budgeded start.

2 Erlkings with budgeted start is know feature. But 3d one is something exceptionally glitchy. Can you recall what were exact circumstances for another Power Core research?
Had it appeared right after successful boarding or you'd waited for some time and that research just... happened? Boarding happened IS or OOS?

its was either 5.0 beta or before that. maybe its a bug from that time. i think i started the boarding IS and finished it OOS. i didnt research the core a second time. didnt know how long i waited after capturing the second erlking but when i wanted to build a xl ship i noticed that the earlking build option wasnt red so i build another one.

Fighters are the only true combat vessels the Vigor Syndicate have. I doubt they're going to stop fielding as many as possible anytime soon.

It would be great if there were less.

It's a shame they don't have m-class and a light l-class carrier, would allow for less fighters - or at least having much of the swarm parked until needed.
