I haven't seen them Boarding larger Targets my self but if they have the code... well... any of you interessted in giving said code to the normies?
Weakened large ships for boarding if you spot one being boarded...
A reason to leave marines stocked on a ship, or indeed to leave crew on a ship...
Medium enemy ships in small groups can sometimes be a threat to a large ship...
You might lose ships to boarders, but hey, it's not destroyed, go board it right back again before it gets away!
Not to mention it'd be another thing to keep an eye open for.
And this guy isn't sure for 100% that pods were heading the destroyer and not another target.
mind you, unless someone enables the other factions to do it (and i really do not know if Yaki can actually board ships) the other Factions won't have that ability.
i'm not a script person my self so.. someone with that talent would have to make it happen.
The two achievements for ventures is easy to get even if you usually play with a ton of game mods.
Simply disable said mods, start a new game, play long enough to create a station with a venture dock. Send out a ship, get it back after a while, get the achievements. Quit that game, re-enable your mods, and load your previous save using mods.
Or simply ignore the two achievements all together.
I'm playing vanilla, the venture dock is disabled and I had assumed that ventures themselves are still disabled.
*Checks settings* ... I'm signed in, ventures extension is enabled with auto updates... Everything seems as it should be.
And in the build menu "Venture Modules" are "Temporarily unavailable." :\ Is there a setting I've missed somewhere?
Im just guessing here, but im afrid this would seriously f*** with the "CAI" / AI Fleets.
Like... Destroyers beeing "stuck" boarding for ..... a while....
Boarding pods still have the Hitbox issues and tend to get stuck in system etcetc...
Sounds like Pandoras Box to me...
MB full scripted boarding events as "radiant spawn events" much like the "deep space" teleporting eccept without teleporting and just spawning 2 ships boarding eachother for the eye-candy...
