How do you get your carriers or supply ships to rearm and repair your fleet?
My carriers wont auto repair the fighters in their fleet or even when the fighters are docked. Also my carriers and the auxilary ship both have the resources. I also have the blue prints for the missles so thats not the issue. I can manual do it myself but becomes micro hell with 80 fighters and counting. Thanks in advance

You need to make sure the resupply level is set. This can be set in Global orders, or on the right tab of the ship information. subordinates can take their formation commander orders or set individually.

With high settings, the only time my Torpedoes rearmed automatically was when they were completely exhausted. Makes you wonder why there's even a settings choice.

This was under 3.1, they've made a lot of fixes around this under 3.2. Unfortunately I'm not in a great need of Torpedoes any longer to test.

We need to lobby for designated loadouts, all my heavy torp ships armed with lights.
They should presumably fire all in combat before rearming, but if your fleet is idle, then I thought they would start rotating through reloading.
Presumably any docked fighters should rearm immediately.
Some of this may be on crew skill, I replaced pilots with a low skill member to train, and in several cases the ship instantly queued a resupply order.
I find this is so hit and miss, and the resupply ships have such low capacities, that I prefer to use non ammo weapons to avoid all my capitals leaving a fight to queue at the resupply ship.

And please can they fix docking speeds, I swear ships take 5 mins to dock.

The whole resupply system is a bit of a mess. I'd much rather pick end product and quantities over materials and price like you do at an Yard or Equip Dock. That would solve the load out issue too. To rearm Torpedoes I've had to adjust sliders for 6K of Energy cells, Missile components and Smart Chips each, it would be so much easier to calculate 15 fighters w/22 torps each... Maintain 330 Heavy torpedoes. Better yet have the capacity to at least do 2 rearms.

Don't know whats the problem. I have now 3 carriers. They are not in any fleet, instead they are both on their own fleets. ( both fully stocked with fighters )
All my fighters on every fleet go and repair on these carriers when they are on same sector.
They don't have to be on same fleet.
My aux ship is alone and I put it into fleet when I need it and where I need it. I got 4 Shuyaku sentinels, all modified to maximum speed, supply stocked to support the Aux ship with needed resources. My own factories provide the needed stuff to resupply.
Seems to work but was a bit confusing to get it to work first time.
My Aux ship also carriers spare fighters.
I prefer sentinel versions as they have bigger cargo and more tank. Speed is not an issue with Aux ship and carrier as they rarely go to front line. ( well raptor goes but that's different setup )

Also check global orders. I think resupply is OFF on default.

You can even change this per fleet. go to information on the fleet leader on the far right tap. uncheck use global order and select, off , low, medium, or high. all subordinantes will default to fleet leaders setting.

Yes this too. Default is off i think so if it's off, there is no resupply and repairs.
I my fighters go and repair in nearest carrier as soon they take hull damage.

I don't think anyone has any issue with repair, it's rearm that's seems to be the challenge. You'd think a high setting would keep them fully loaded but instead they only rearm when completely exhausted. The second issue is no selection as to what they rearm.

My guys are constantly going back to rearm missiles on high. The thing is, you gota have missile supplies on the supply ship, or the supply station in order for them to resupply.
