Possible to Tow a Ship?

So long story short - I found an abandoned ship but it has no Engines?
It has thrusters but no engine

Specifically this ship in Teladi Space
Near where you rescue Bosco in terran cadet start

So is there any way to move the ship at all?

Seems like a mod-induced bug.

You might be able to precisely position a ship with an M class dock such that it can dock without moving, but that won't get it any engines.

If that kind docking possible OP may drop off ship Osprey near wharf and later push it with some high weight M ship inside to the docking pad. But that really doesn't worth the efforts.

You can also get the ship for yourself and sell it immediately; the Osprey is so slow that flying it around will only get you frustrated...

Seems a bug. In Vanilla, the ship has middle-branded equipments. Well, even if I have one, I won't use it. So slow corvette.

my buddy found an abandoned boron ship in vanlilla with only one engine then couldn't change any outfitting on it at any non-boron shipyard because "ship is missing required components" and non-boronn ships cannot use non-boron engines

this seems like a logical continuation of that vanilla issue

Nothing "logical" about this: that Boron ship is part of the dlc's story, while the issue reported here is a well-known problem caused by some mods.

Nothing "logical" about this: that Boron ship is part of the dlc's story, while the issue reported here is a well-known problem caused by some mods.

They tug derelicts to recycling stations. As to "why", it clearly is because the game developers didn't program them to do it!

But you should be complaining about you engineless ship to the mod creator(s).
