Struggling with Darkness Lifted Achievement

Can't find any complete maps of Sanctuary of Darkness either, only some vague instructions online. I've completed the first part of the Boron DLC too.

I got it. I think you need to visit the 3 rocks with crystals and the Xenon base. There's a rock with red crystals near both Kha'ak hives and in the middle, where the highway mission takes you.

The Xenon base is in the lower left corner of the map.

You want to actually find it or just get the achievment?
If it´s just about the achievment start a custom game with satellite coverage for SoD. Got it that way by accident because I wanted to see the sector xD

Lol pretty genius idea. I actually just want the achievement as I've spent enough time trying to look for whatever I'm missing.

I've done this now. Still no unlock.

If anyone has done this achievement would you mind uploading a screenshot of your Sanctuary of Darkness map please? I've tried searching online but there aren't any clear and up to date ones that I can find.

I can in a few hours if no one else does, but how I approached the last little bit was flying around in a destroyer. Flew north of the SE gate out of the cloud even and noticed it popped. I’m going to guess it’s some random asteroid (red crystal one?) or maybe kha’ak platforms count or something. The xenon station was SE of the SE gate for me rather than lower left.

Why not just explore it by youself? Put anti hazard mod on your ship and you're 90%done

Another fruitless hour spent in Sanctuary of Darkness...

Ok so here is my map in two sections. I see the three icons for grey 'Asteroid', the 'Xenon Station' and of course the Kha'ak (I blew up the installation on the right hand side). I don't see anything else on the map but that's what I have explored (and I double checked, I have the 'Darkness Lifted' achievement).

Thank you very much! I found it within five minutes of consulting your map. The location was in the second pic, that red area north of the asteroid which begins partway along the highway. I had totally missed it. Deceptively hidden!

Yeah, thank you. I think part of my disadvantage with the game is that even though I got it last year I only decided to start playing when Kingdom End was released and therefore maybe I'm missing out on a lot of things players already know because I have started with KE and not touched anything else yet xD

Meh, I'm still learning neat stuff and I've been playing over 1100 hours lol. Actually haven't gotten into the big station stuff until lately because I always enjoyed the early-mid game build up. Great thing about this game is you can faff about, relax and watch the game or go hardcore intense min-max full steam - doesn't matter lol. As long as you can work through what you're trying to achieve and enjoy the process.
