Can the HQ be destroyed?

Playing my first v6 game with expansion. I notice the Xenon have been cranked WAY down so I didn't bother setting up any defenses in Heretic's End, thinking I'd get around to it eventually. Right around the start of day 2 there's an I and 2 K's blowing up all my modules.

Then I thought to myself...they can target the modules, but can they target the core where Boso is and where the research happens?

I'm going to assume not, but if anyone knows....

They can destroy the modules, but the "main" module can't be destroyed, it stays at 1 hp(mj, whatever the game calls it).

It's called research module, research module it self can't be destroyed, special case module/plot module, but anything you build or add to it, are able destroyed.

I'm trying to find a way to do that so that the retarded squid called boso ta can die and I can finally play X4 in peace without its 5 minute spam.
If anyone finds out how to do this or getting rid of the incel while retaining the research, give me a heads up please.

I've not tried killing him, but if you edit your save file, you can change his faction to your own, and then you could actually assign him to a ship and send him to meet the Xenon. I don't know if he would get plot armor though.

Boso doesnt really bother you at all if theres no active mission from him, if you want to shut him up usually just get his request done
