Does this still have to be done one by one or is there another way?

Is there any progress on letting you click on a ship in the upkeep missions and going straight to it on the map. can take me a while to find the ship to add a pilot to.

still has to be done one by one...
of course you can try to select all of them simultaniously and reequip them at the carrier it self...

you should be guided into the same screen as if you would buy / equip any other ship, including a section to get pilots onto those ships... given you have some personel on said carrier.

You can't upgrade the ships if they have no captains, so in my case I've captured a carrier that left 26 fighters.

I had to manually give each one of those ships a captain before I could even touch the upgrade button.

If I had two M's with captains on a carrier, then tried to upgrade them as a group. You can not modify the crew. While it's not as bad as giving each ship a captain, it's still a pain to mass crew ships.

The carrier needs some kind of logistics officer or a manager to make sure all ships are crewed and armed.

to be fair... its a miracle that the ships change ownership together with the carrier.. that in it self is a behavior that is not accounted for.

and, believe you me, if it get fixed the outcry will be LOUD.

If you do, then make sure at the same time you reduce shipyard prices to 150 mill odd, and do something to allow the game to continue running without grinding to a halt.
I am thinking the only way I can encounter late gameplay without slideshow is to liberate a few tokyos.
and grinding captures to get 200 mill for shipyard, then all the plans....

You mean the unintentional immersive bug that no one wants you to fix lol? I just want some ship officers, one of the things that X-Rebirth got incredibly right, well that and jump drives.

No one sees Jeff Bezos hand picking Amazon drivers, neither should a galactic conglomerate CEO.

P.S. Not even 1 percent of this happens on a ship like the Tokyo.

honestly... he should hand pick his drivers personally.
than i would have some of my stuff got delivered intact and not in pieces.

It's faster if you rename your carrier to AAA so it would be at the top of the list, open some ship with a lot of crew, right click crewmen-work somewhere lese-select your figters on a carrier from the property owned list. Would be worse if they weren't docked.
