ANT and TER war

Do they start off fighting each other? I have ANT and TER ships fighting in The Void sector, TER are also building defense station there and the sector is now contested.
I did the TER Secret Service quest line to destroy the data and keep the status quo but TER is actively building stations in The Void and the ANT and TER military ships are still shooting at each other.

I don't think that they are at war in my game. I was attacking 2 Xenon I's in the Void because they were loittering in the traffic lanes harassing all supply ships. Once I killed the first one, a Terran armada came through the Void to help me kill the second I. Then they left, and there was no altercation between TER and ANT.

I'm currently 21 with TER which is why they came to help. Also I did not do the mission you mentioned.

I think they just don't like each other. Can't verify their status because I'm at work.

TER is not at War but destroy anything what has claim rights.. wharf, shipyards, defence station and trade stations.
TER vs ARG/ANT is the best war beside the HOP/PAR/TEM civil war. money printing machine.

haha yes belive it or not I am playing a peaceful game this run. However I have downloaded FOCW and Xenon Config mods to make Xenon a real threat so I am hoping to play it like unite all the factions against the Xenon style role play. Like Babylon 5... im very old its ok if you never heard of Babylon 5 :)

Stealing terran ships in getsu fune and using the capital to make a mega-mart for ARG/ANT and TER ships in savage spur is the best trade setup that I know of so far

I wish that was possible. I wish I could Sheridan an alliance and bring them all towards the same goal, but how do you do that when HOP wants to fight ARG and TER wants to fight ANT etc?
Additionally, I don't have White Stars. Or maybe I could build some like that, but then I don't have Rangers. OOS they are all weird and IS they don't know how to fly together :) So no skindancing.

I have an alliance fleet with representative ships from all factions I got good relations with.

It is possible to be John Sheridan. The paranid quest line unites the HOP and PAR and makes them neutral to ARG and ANT. Also the SPlit quest line if you choose correctly makes the CUB neutral to ARG and gets rid of ZYA

It's my first run through the X4 plot lines :) I am looking forward to experiencing all that. Only done Boron, Terran (up to the Syn), HAT (up to the death of our emisery and surrender to Argon of the other HAT rep) and I'm currently trying to continue with the TER secret missions.

I even made peace with the Yaki now i can build their Moreya and Kurokami ships. They make a good white star style ship because they are small and some what OP for M ships. The Moreya is a great fast S ship so they are like my star furies or Membari Nial fighters

I'll keep an eye out for those; right now YAK are at -29, but they have a mission offer next to their station... maybe some day!
