Best M size troop carrier?

I will try the Falx since I was looking for an M to rob some L ships to use for more enhanced boarding ops. Thank you for the help

I use M transports, as they are cheaper than military ships, and i do all the damage myself anyway. Transports just need to deliver the troops.

Baldric carries 22 marines, Dolphin takes 21, Hermes 20. I usually group them in fleets of 5 ships.

I prefer the Split Boa. Only 20 crew. But, she is fast, and readily available in Hatikvas choice as, in most game starts, plenty of them go for the HAT Trading dock there. And if your lucky enough, it come preinstalled with a good combat drive.

Boa does make for a quick drop, and by the time the Boarding process is done, she may already be back with a fresh batch of Recruits XD

true, you don't need M frigates and or corvettes for boarding unless you using mods that makde destroyers hard to disarm with a corvette, in vanilla one good Corvette is all you need to disarm a destroyer, then you take a bunch of cheap transporters with marines and you bring them in once the target is floating in space.
