How to improve relationship with Terran faction ?

It was -15, now it is -18...
My ships shot (by accident) some of the Terran fleet. But I can't trade with them, can't enter most of their space.
Any remedy (apart of patrolling their sectors which are still accessible) ?

Even at -18 there should be mission offers here and there; also, killing criminal traffic near their stations (if there's no bug preventing rep gain from this).

Not tested since the new update but has worked in the past when attempting to raise Terran rep from -15: Terran stations can often be found in PIO space, particularly to the west. So, hang around these Terran stations and shoot identified criminal traffic. Should do the job reasonably quickly...

If you are lucky, you'll find a mission to kill criminal traffic. You get rep for kills, rep for mission, and criminals spawn faster during the mission.

Just be sure to reel them in to near a station before killing them or else you won't get rep.

You can also fly anywhere from asteroid belt to Ort cloud in a civilian vessel without antagonizing the Terran (before -20 anyway) allowing you more opportunity for mission and criminal traffic

In my current run, Getsu Fune is currently occupied by Xenon, but Terrans have stations there. I just went in and went wild on the Xenons within viewing distance of Terran bases, I got +9 rep from just a few xenon kills, which was more than enough to send my traders into Terran space.

As mentioned, killing criminals near stations is the easiest way to boost it up some. Technically once you're at -10, the encyclopedia says you're allowed to dock, but I had to raise it to -9.

Once at -9 and allowed to dock, I purchased a few miners from the Pioneers and sent them into Terran sectors to automine. Just make sure what you're mining is in demand in whatever sector you choose. Let that go for a while and your rep will passively increase as you do other stuff and your miners sell to stations. You can pretty much ignore them since they're pretty safe in those sectors. I chose one of the sub-sectors in Saturn. A couple of missions helps too when available.
