How to get higher status?

Im trying to get some better ships and i need better relationships with people... i remember that there were some missions you can do in stations. You could see them on the map like yellow icons.. now i cannot see these missions.. something changed?

One time i saw a yellow human like shape in 1 or 2 stations. I docked there and look around to find whats this icon is.. found nothing..

Obviously im doing soemthing wrong..

So please someone explain me again how to get missions or do what to improve yiur relationship with other people..

Do missions for them or help them in fight with their enemies, sell them goods or fly around their stations and kill criminals - small civilian ships => fly from station to station and in no time you have 10 relation.
As for yellow icons you need to scan the station (scan mode) and find the source, usually is a mission or trade offer.

ohh so that yellow icons are that you need to find the radio chatter thing and fix it? ok

selling goods and flying around also ok. So far havent seen 1 enemy to destroy. For me every ships is kinda blue or pinkish...

i also know i can build ships if i have the blueprints but what about weapons?

You need to buy blueprints for each weapon, engine type, thrusters, etc that you want to equip the ship with. Keep that in mind when you will invest in your first wharf and ship blueprint. Some equipment are universal (no faction letters in front of the blueprint name when you buy them), and thus better deals early on.

Also if you want to automatically sell ships to other factions with your wharf, you need to have the blueprints from that particual faction. Example: if you buy the blueprints for a nemesis ship (with PAR engine and PAR shield, and compatible wepons), only the PAR will order from you automatically. As a workaround, you can build the ship yourself and manually sell it to any faction with a right-click on their wharf or shipyard.

If you leave your map and the (!) icon open, you will find missions as your pilot flies within radar zone of stations.

As you accept missions, they move into the (! with a checkmark) tab.

Each time you accept a mission, that mission becomes the active mission. You can choose a different mission from the list to make it active.

An active mission is where you get the yellow pathway on your map.

tbh to build rep you can just buy a couple mining ships per faction, set them up in a sector with a resource and processing station in the same place (e.g. ore and an ore refinery) and let their constant trades passively increase it.

and also do i have to build a certain faction ship construction type or if i build just 1 ship construction building then i can build all faction ships?

Mostly true except for boron ships unless it is a bug. I was unable to build boron ships at a Terran fabrication ship module but I could build/modify the others.

Do what I do hang in one faction sector and target station ( you can do it through radar or map) it will show if they have mission or not even on 300 km away
To accept or check what mission it is you need be 50 km from station

Where do you buy smaller ships? I recently started as young gun and the only shipyard I can find in argon territory will only sell me L and XL ships.

Press C when targeting a ship and ask them to the nearest wharf (make sure it the right faction)

Just look around argon prime they always have bouth in theyr home sector each faction

Any wharf or shipyard will let you build any ship design as long as you have the corresponding blueprints. I bought my blueprints with the Split faction and can build Terran ships without any problem.

Note that have not met the Boron faction yet so i dont know about them, but so far it has worked with all factions. Prices of blueprints may vary from faction to faction (depending on reputation maybe?), so if your reputation is high enough with multiple factions, compare the prices before buying your wharf or shipyard blueprints.

Yep. But again, provided that you have bough t the blueprints for the particular ship you want to build, as well as the blueprints for the equipment (engines, weapons, shields, etc.) that you want on it.
