BOR Thresher Missile Turret

Is there any reason why a Thresher cannot mount M Missile turrets like the Guppy/Ray/Shark can?

All I can think is that whilst they're both 'M' turrets, the cap ship turrets are more square whilst the M ship turrets are rectangle (ie. they're two different models despite both being M-class).

Is just slightly confusing when they're both 'M' class turrets.

I'd just love to deck out a thresher with missile turrets to see it flying along spitting out missiles all over the place - could be fun, especially with swarm missiles!
