seawater samples quest bugged?

I have a boron quest for finding seawater samples in the Getsu Fune sector on a terran station. I found the samples on the bars table after talking to 2 guys but I have no option to pick them up, anyone else has this problem?

Yeah, that's a weird one for the location, but it sounds like greatfruit did find it, it just isn't interacting. I still see elevator panels do that, so maybe this object can, too? If that's the case, just save and re-load.

you need to talk to people upstairs and downstairs. - that is not the sample the sample is opposite that. look at the edge of the table.
move forward and left from the second picture and look right.

How did you come up with the Getsu Fune sector ? Unfortunately, the mission description only says Bar and that's it and between the Boron and the Terrans there are "a few" stations :)
is there a possibility to search only for bars on stations or do you have to fly all stations and hope that then a bar is on it and there possibly the sample is to be found?

The mission when active should point you right to what station it wants.

Let me guess... to do that, I first have to raise the rank with the Terrans.... i thought the info "improve rank" comes because i should give the sample and so increase the rank

Edit : that was exactly my mistake... the mission is there to improve the relationship with the terrans... so i thought the message belongs to the sample... but you have to do that before to get to terran stations arghs...

re-load is working.

You may not even need that much. Sometimes pressing F2 to get the outside view then F1 again can fix this sort of thing.

Uhg. That was annoying. I was looking right at it and not realizing it was the box. I didn't expect it to be stuck under the tabletop and I couldn't interact with it until I crouched next to it. I just thought I was looking at part of the table design.

Does the location for this activate when your rep is -9 or better? Mine is -16.

.... yes, you have to have -9 or better with Terrans to unlock guidance to the water sample part of the mission.
