Mods for Shark
I'm not sure what the best mods are for the shark? I've only got basic stuff mainly, but something is better than nothing. Installing these mods is a chore so it would be nice if I knew what I was doing lol.

Two methods to installing mods is you can subscribe to a mod using steam or you can download one at Nexus Mods. If you use steam, you need to make sure in the extension menu that the workshop option is on. If you download mods, the mods go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X4 Foundations\extensions. Currently there is not any ship mods for the Boron DLC. I would like the boron ships to have more bite myself. You can try VRO is one of the best mods out there. Hope this helps.

I believe the OP is talking about ship modifications, not mods.

@OP, usually mass reduction modifications for chassis, weapon recharge speeds for weapons and shield recharge / capacity for shields, forward thrust enhancements for engine performance. I have mainly been putting ship modifications (at the least these ones, minus the weapon mods) onto my freighters to marginally improve trading speed (as I don't have a vast enough collection to outfit my military fleets).

I'm not sure if my selection is the on the right track, but they'll likely serve you well with your destroyer. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I'm on the right track.

For turrets, you can't go wrong with Slasher.

For chassis, Purple Nanotube or the green Polisher one will work.

For shields, capacity and/or recharge. I'd go with capacity on the XL shields since it's a percentage and boron already have a lot of shields, taking that further seems crazy. Recharge delay for the M shields.

For Engines, Nudger with 43 - 44 forward thrust and the closest you can get to -25% travel thrust. (It will still increase travel speed) Or, if you have purple parts, Slingshot with as close as you can get to 30% forward thrust and 50% travel thrust.

Thanks. I get confused with the chassis and engine mods. I've only put some in my personal Hydra so far and that buffed it right up lol so I'd like to get it spot on for my carriers.

So on this website, I notice that some exceptionals don't have percentage chance listed in the extra modifiers. Does this mean it 100 percent or does it mean its unknown?

It means it always gives those extra modifiers.
