Can I capture the Yasur?

I captured lot ships from visitors,but nenver got the Yasur

Is it uncapturable?

people have captured it. haven't run across one in my game, though.

I wondered the same. In theory, you absolutely should be able to, as with other rare ships.
I got a second Hydra Regal that way.
I guess the main hindrance would be that not many players send their Astrids, Hydra Regals or Yasurs on ventures.
So, take that as encouragement to take one for the community and risk all your pretty ships for the rest of us!

build a small station in leap of faith then wait there.
you will find lot of ships

I took 3 hours still can't capture it, the Yasur has a 5 star captain and a 1 star crew
and no one launch the pod in this 3 hours........

I captured two from an enemy who was kind enough to send it over

You want to use boron ship for pirating them though to slow it down and use the ion dmg to it fullest

They can be annoying fast

I just got myself a third Yasur (first one was from bonus content, second one from phase 1 rewards). Used the turrets of my Astrid to strip the shields first and then turned them off while I periodically hammered at its hull with one of the Astrid main guns. After a few minutes, the pilot (3*) bailed. I'm currently engaging a second one, which is quite a bit tougher since the pilot is 5*. Also, this one keeps acting weirdly, basically bumping back and forth in the sector.
