DLC et main mission

Hi
I have already played X4 foundation version 4 and completed the main mission.
then I bought Cradle of humanity and so I started all over again: the crystals; station scans; the main mission etc. ( 150h)
with version 6.00 if I buy a new DLC (kingdom end) do I have to start all over again?
How to use DLCs effectively?

You don't have to, you can just start the Boron Missions from an exisiting save, however their economy will be far behind everyone else. Alternatively you can do a bugdeted gamestart using your previous saves accomplishments marked as completed (say PHQ, Hatikva Plot, whatever plots you already played and don't want to play again), so you don't have to grind to thru the entire early game. That way you get to experience the Boron content in an universe that is not entirely unbalaced.

or look for a more detailed explanation of how to set up a "Budgeted Custom Game Start" on Youtube (the Wiki does a meh job of explaining how to set it up, and frankly it's a bit much to write down all the things to consider... or i am a bit lazy :P).

but if I continue my cradle of humanity game started in 4.0 will I benefit from the improvements of 6.0?

Yes, all the improvements will be there. Like i said, only "problem" you might run into is the Boron economy being essentially broken since they are "spawned" in when you load with essentially the economy of a new gamestart, meaning they are far behind and apart from getting the story, you may (atleast from my experience) have issues getting anything from them (as in ships, because their economy can't support their wharfs and shipyards).
