Auto Pilot way worse after 6.0 update
I used to be able to let autopilot fly me long distances while I managed my organization in the map screen prior to the 6.0 update. Since the update, Auto pilot runs into ships, asteroids, stations pretty much anything that's in the systems I fly through. Unless the system is Morning Star or some other system that's almost completely empty, I WILL run into something with auto pilot. Has anyone else experienced this dip in AP performance?

Well, devs added the "Autopilot epically failed" voiceline for a reason, right? It would be a shame if it went to waste...

I actually found AI pathing improved around my stations

Problem area after 6.0 is
1. Docking and undocking (it either work well or doesn’t)
2. Gates (only certain ones)

My autopilot don’t run into asteroids often
If anything it too cautious and I have to take control for my sanity

Yes, Autopilot is quite good at avoiding asteroids. Unless it's a freakin huge one, with a station attached to it.

Whenever i forget to turn autopilot off in Avarice i end up inside a freakin Tidebreaker. Every. Damn. Time.

Otherwise, yeah, it's good enough ;]

It's around 50% for with asteroids for me. Everything else that is player or faction made though....it's like the AP doesn't even take them into account. Before the 6.0 update it would position itself in a general direction of where the target is and prioritize not hitting anything, even if it meant not moving to the target in a direct straight line. In my experience now, the AP clearly does not see any "man made" object.

To be fair, I do have two mods installed, cheat menu(don't hate, this game can take a long time and sometimes, I wanna skip the grind) and "Paintjobs Galore!". I have a hard time believing either of those two mods would affect AP.

I think the AI pathing is only as bad as X4 1.0, which is bad, but not worse than it ever has been.
