Where should i be mining Nividium?

I was mining Silicon, but i would like to move up to Nividium so i can get some more ships. What sectors should i be looking in? So far i haven't found much supply/demand for it.

Repeat orders and second contact vii. Right click mine nvidium and repeat at another location next to it. Takes a while to mine and respawn.

No not really. Might increase productivity. Can just right click on a space on the map and select mine nvidium. Doesn't give a lot of nvidium per run just enough for the research but it's a reliable source and it does seem to respawn.

When you get into later stages, there are War missions from the Paranid, Argon, and Terrans that will reward you with a large mining ship packed with 2500 nvidium already loaded. If you can find one that only requires a frigate and four fighters, you can complete the mission for just a few million.
