ready to cheat for last erlking vault

this stopped being fun about 2 days ago. my ships will not explore the sector anymore because there is no more unknown space.. the satellite method didnt not work and it appears that the vaults i have already cleared are showing up as closed all over again so im re-clearing old data vaults because i forgot which ones i have already found.
the last one i need is the useless shield one. how can i just cheat, see where it is and reload from an unmodified save file?

the forum says to turn off save game compression...but i cant find that option in game for the life of me. where exactly is it?

There is a batch file on the forum that does it all for you. Run it, wait 10 seconds and a text will pop up giving the x,y and z co-ordinates of all 5. No modified tag. Win 11 might need it to be run via command prompt but that's about all the technical knowledge you need.

That option is gone. .gz is a common compression - you can use 7zip to extract the file to text. (The script will do it, too, and give you where the things are. If you just want to look yourself, you can unzip it with 7zip.)
