also note that 'failure' messages persist eternally, even if the ship has since found a trade.
The trade I want to setup is between two stations i own. I have tried max Buy price + min Sell price, and the other way around, but the ship will still not buy the energy cells. I have also tried removing the SELL command from the loop, leaving only the BUY order, and it still doesn't buy. My solar station does however sell to other factions. It also has a M freighter as subordinate, which seems to work. The problem seems to be connected only to the L size freighter, even though I have 2 docks on the solar power plant.
skip the buy/sell.
instead tell them to simply "swap wares" (sorry, i don't know what it is called in english)
instead of buy/sell... use the "transfer wares with..." command.
Mmh, no, there is no "transfer wares" option when using repeat orders, i cannot do that. This is rather strange
Try the other way around.
If your ship's cargo hold is full, the game won't let you set the buying order, but it will let you create a selling order even if it's empty.
If your stations have them, it's optional for the ship.
