How do I get the damn SETA drive.

Everyone says it just appears in your crafting list after you kill some aliens. been killing xenon and collecting parts, and nothing. How do I get this?

There are 3 ingredients: 1 Damaged Singularity Engine, 1 Flux Capacitor and 1 Programmable Field Array. When you get these items, you can craft the SETA at a crafting table at any station.

You get these ingredients by collecting drops from battles, specially from Xenon and Khaak.

from my experience

programmable field array can be dropped by anything but higher percentage with xenon

and the other two items i got pretty quick killing khakk during an escort mission, i dont think standard npc ships drop them very often

One of them is more commonly dropped by khaak. cant remember which one, but its the one that takes forever to find^^

I think for the Damaged Singularity Engine you need to destroy Khaak? The other 2 you can get from Xenon, but not the damaged drive? Grand Exchange, where the original HQ was is a good place to hunt Khaak.

You can get all from Xenon. In my game my drop rates from farming X-Treme Fight rank against Xenon were:
1372 Programmable Field Array
88 Flux Capacitor
63 Damaged Singularity Engine

So you can see the Flux Capacitor and Singularity Engine have low drop rates.
