open track(aitrack) - mouse emulation only working at startmenu [solved]
So i got opentrack / aitrack running, now I wonder how I can make the mouse move via my headmovement while being ingame.

output: mouse emulation, which moves the mouse in windows and x4 game menu, but while being ingame nothing works, even when I map the mouse look to mmb, I can only look around by hand.

any ideas?

Super strange when I use it with
free track 2.0 enhanced it tracks my movement ingame whenever I switch from flight to menu, only then it takes the input and creates the output for onetime setting the menuview to another position

EDIT: I was sitting in darkness while being in space, in light while in windows desktop, because of that the software couldn't track my head without a lightsource / led

Hi i have the same problem. For me in citydriver the camera only turn with my mouse but in windows menu works fine

Lol guess back in the days I was sitting in the dark, which was the reason for the headtracking not picking up on my movement. Never used it again, after testing it more, I was able to make it work, but still it was not perfectly smooth.

I got to google everything, okay let's see

I got this video in my search list, and when I look into my settings which I haven't used since my post they are the same, no idea if the mapping is the same, got better mapping

And I have to note that I had my camera at my chest height, so maybe this screwed some things up

Later I wanted to solder some Leds to a cap / headdevice and I was searching for cheap alternatives, but doing it myself would always be cheaper ofc.

I just didn't care anymore.

I had to toggle the tracker per button, because else I was constantly moving in little steps back and forth if I can remember it correctly and that made me sick too
