How to kill khaki station in terran mission?
Terran high command gave me Syn-class and sent one (1) supercapital to destroy khaki. Problem is it takes longer than five million years for that terran ship to enter the system, if it even ever reaches it because there are xenons between it and the khaki station.

Does it ever reach its destination? Can i kill the khkaki somehow and claim reward?

you could but i won't suggest you don't have the fire power to take down anything bigger then a K so i suggest you wait for the Asgard who probably wait for the rest of the fleet

Yep this is one of the most annoying missions in the game (together with elysian-station-asault)

Your best bet is to wait in Sinza till the TER have arrived or if you already reached that point where you can do this... solo the station yourself.

Oh you're talking about the Yaki. I thought this was about the Kha'ak or something.

I did this one ages ago by flying the Syn past all the xenon and towards the Yaki station. If I remember you kind of get initially swarmed by a huge amount of small/medium xenon. K/I's are possible? but I don't think I encountered them back then. Definitely may be something to be cautious about. I had all L pulse and didn't have laser towers with me- you may want to bring them a ton of them and mix up whatever weaponry you'd like. I would thin out the initial xenon before you attack the Yaki.

Then you start slugging away at the station, doing so at range and taking breaks when more xenon come at you. It takes some time... this idea may also falter if the xenon station placement is particularly close. Such as I have the shipyards and wharf pretty close in my game. Modding the ship for weapons/shields is also recommended.

Who knows if it'll still work, but you can give it a shot.

The big trick is to have the Terrans and your minions clear the first part of
Tharka's Cascade while you're out of sector, as the Hazardous Area's shield drain doesn't apply then. I think it also makes L and XL ships immune to having their systems damaged, which makes them basically immune to swarms of smaller ships too. The Terrans will keep sending fleets at this pocket of Xenon if their flagship is destroyed. Just wait for them to clear the way. This pocket of Xenon is the only immediate enemy of the Terrans, so them blowing resources on these charges isn't a problem as long as they have Getsu Fune secure.

I have an Osaka and the free Syn both armed with Argon M Flak+Paranid L Plasma turrets. I can just order the two to bombard any station the main Terran fleet misses (it will take a while, but they're totally safe as long as a K or I doesn't show up, and they can take a K easily if given basic orders), and to flank any Is that show up while the expendable AI fleet keeps the I's main guns distracted.

I assume you mean the amplifier from the yaki? i usually just rush it with the syn soon as i get that, usually swaping its front 4 turrets with plasma at least, and then just pilot it in, before i do such things tho i usually have a sat at each gate going to them just so i can see whats on each side, usually you can just keep travel mode active through each of the gates till you arrive, as long as not too many capital ships are defending the area u can quickly demolish it.

I believe it was 4.0 where they changed that, hazard sectors apply their damage regardless of IS/OOS. But the Tharka's cascade hazard only does shield damage and L and XL ships shields regen faster than the damage. Not meant as an attack or anything, just making sure people get accurate information :)

Use travel drive and kill the station.

Nah, I've had some M class ships idling there to kill incoming Xenon with no issues, but they lose some shield if I ever enter which will then regen to full only after I leave.

wonder if thats a bug then, in my game almost every time i look over at tharkas cascade, all the ships have 0 shields, and i have not been in sector personally for hours, but i have full sensor coverage and can see all the ships taking constant shield damage, only the large and above regen.

You talk like terran response is more than a one ship. They literally sent one gigantic ship and it is taking forever. It has no fleet. Is something wrong?
EXPLODENSTEIN Jun 12, 2023 @ 12:07pm
The Terrans dealt with the xenon and Yaki station including the amplifier without me even being there. I made it over to the Yaki and even blew up the amplifier myself until I got destroyed and had to reload. I talked to Haile and made it back to HQ to try and get more firepower and while I had been working on that. the quest cleared itself and I got all the rewards. Not sure if it was a bug but I went with it.

the yaki supporter in me cries seeing all the people that side with the terran protectorate to kill them here :( you can have your cake and eat it, let them live, tell the terran they are no threat and work to help the yaki, and can still kill the amplifier

Ha ha ha, yeah as soon as they told me they wanted to lead the Xenon to Terran space I was like " Ooohh I'm gonna tell.

That's what I always do. I take out the amplifier (previous versions by clipping into the structure lol), then I tell them they're disorganized/not a threat. Which is pretty true... plus the Moreya is pretty great.

Even though I'm a big terran-phile, I'm going to have to work in a game where the xenon roll over Earth. Just for something different.
