This is really annoying. How to fix this?
You can change your ships' default response to police interdiction, including to "ignore", but that may anger the cops...
It's really nothing to worry about and it won't cause any noticeable disruptions to your operation. But if you want to completely avoid this for some reason then the only way would be to have your miners operate in a sector that does not have owner, or one you own yourself.
Yeah, telling them to ignore cops will only help piss them off and risk your miners getting blow up. And if you tell them to escape they will actually waste a ton of time running away and not doing what they were supposed to. Having your miners submit to a police scan from time to time and lose like 30 seconds is not a problem at all.
If you do have an ai ship that is scanned by police and they do have illegal wares on board (or on themselves) then they will tell you they are being scanned by the police and ask what to do. If you say they ignore they will probably kill the police lol as I've found out a couple of times. Tried a bit of smuggling. Didn't quite work out. Many, many dead. Nasty business.
The tide in Avarice also causes ships outside the sector to go "Wait for signal"
