King of the Scrap Heap

Aptly named. Still fairly early game, so I was so proud to have boarded the Erkling and got out of there in one piece only to find that It is absolutely worthless scrap to me... I have too much going on in early game stuff (pushing back Xenon infil of ZYA, HAT and ARG, trying to build rep with key factions to arm my caps, working first mega-factory) to deal with the goose chase required to equip, and moreover am still light years (parsecs at least) away from having a shipyard. By the time I have a shipyard, I won't be needing anything else anyway, so it really is the King of the scrap heap. I may just sell it to the Split, maybe they can load it with mines and sail it into a Xenon defense station or something.

Well, as the ship is unique it more a prestige object to have than a flag ship.
there can be only one owned by the player at any given time anyway.

if you manage to fully equip it with what ever blueprint there is to find its woth the scavener hunt however... from what i hear the Ship is seriously overpowered.

The best thing about it is that it's fast and fairly manueverable. It's not a good anti-capital ship though, with only one meh-tier main cannon. A rattlesnake does much better job with killing anything in the game, especially if you apply slasher to its turrets, strafe thrust upgrade and mass reduction.

Scavenger hunt? What planet are you devs on? This is needle in a haystack type ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that just forces most players to open their savegame and cheat. At least try and be innovative instead of putting a massive "we cant be bothered" "hunt" in your game, it's basically insulting. Your company charged money for this. This is one of the reasons I wont be buying from Egosoft again.
