Not sure how to deliver stuff

So i just started a new game and got the plot mission where you get a freighter ship and 250 medical supply. the next task of the mission is only listed as "Deliver 250 medical supply", but it doesnt say to where or who.

Anyone can help me with what am i supposed to do?

If the mission is set to active, you'll see what you have to do next in bottom left panel on the screen when piloting a ship.

ok yeah, after some trial and error i now finally understand that i was supposed to explore to a different system that i have yet to discover. The UI is kinda hard to understand but now ive found what im looking for. thanks guys

Can't fully remember? But I think you sell them at the Hatikva port? Where their rep is.

maybe you don't know the "mission sector" atm, sometimes you have to explore a bit to discover new mission sectors

No thats a story quest, you have to deliver it to a specified station.

A good thing to remember about finding unkown sectors is to just comm the nearest friendly ship and they will give you a navpoint.

also a bit unrelated. but man the search bar for the filter is not that good. was hoping that they would at least show up some options if you partially type the name but that doesnt seem to be the case (which make trying to filter out stuff harder)

Yes you can, if you comm the ship you can get an option to say "Can you tell me the way to.....[named]?"

This will only work on friendly ships (ie from factions that you have a good relation with) if you comm a ship not friendly they will just say "I don't want to talk to you".

I never use the filter because I find that even more fiddly and confusing than whatever the thing I'm trying to do, and it doesn't always help anyway.
