no mods but marked as modified?

the only thing i have enabled in my current game is split dlc and the terran dlc. for some reason i have been marked as modified, is there any way to see why?

recheck the game files click on game properties then get it to check the cache. not sure exactly where it is havent done it in a while but thats what to look for. second. Go into steam store page for game then goto workshop then can click my mods and see if any loaded. also in game click extensions and see if there is any there.
it could also be you once copied files from nexusmods.com and directly tossed them into game files and it changed something which is why said run the check and if that fails delete the entire thing. then go into steam steamapps in your hard drive then delete to folder but only if everything else on list has failed then reinstall game fresh.

They already confirmed, that they can't do anything about their own system. Saves either cannot be fixed or devs are simply not willing to.
Just simply remove the tag, but apparently:

Nope. Need this system for the saves to be egligable for tech support and a multiplayer system is non-existent for over 2 years now.

If you do care, only way is to roll back to the last good save.
In my case I lost 48 hours of progress.

Tried to restart, but this game is just too tedious with its long waiting times etc. Dropped and uninstalled.
