Any plan to make min-maxing ship mods much easier?
especially when you have hundreds of L mining and trading ships that you want to mod. doing it all one by one is extremely exhausting, only the Buddha have enough patience to do it all one by one manually.
I used a macro that made the whole process much easier but it's still taking whole load of time to mod all my ships (tens of hours doing it and I'm not even halfway done) and I'm already exhausted beyond belief.

Well, ship modifications were never intended for mass-application and only for your few, personal ships. Or an elite squadron.

there's mod that increases mining yield by 500%. the mod is called digger and it's a tier 1 mod for the mining turret. reaver is a mod that could increase a ship's travel drive by 45% max. Paranid L miner can reach speed of 12000 m/s using reaver mod paired with another mod that reduces drag.

not to mention at late game you'll be having like thousands of crafting items that enables you to make like 2000+ tier 1 ship mods. why make the drop rate that high if you'll not supposed to use them all?

I feel you are exagerating a bit. Maybe make it a few hundred at most, if you go out of your way to farm them. After destroying half of the xenon with the Erlking and sucking up all the loot i could, i maybe managed to get enough for 30 weapon mods. Most of which will already be used up to get good rolls on the Erlkings L turrets.

....that's because you don't make collection fleet with scouts+repeat order that will collects these for you automatically, instead you just manually collect them yourself. I have like 15000 interface unit alone after hundreds hour of playtime

Interface units are basically worthless though.
You need the High Energy Catalyst, Basic Weapon Chambers, Basic Ship Nanoweave etc.

I meant to say 150k, not 15k

Welp, that is indeed a stupid amount of crafting materials.

the initial reply still stands and is the answer to the topic, mass modifications of player owned ships is very unlikely to happen as they were and still are intended to be used on personal player ships.

Alright then, that just can't be helped, I will probably try to write a more complicated macro that would be able to do the job for me more easily. thanks for the reply

there was also some other topic that inspired me to do this. it's all about yield, and a way to not pushing the computation resource of the CPU any further. instead of increasing the number of ship by 50% to fill in that gap in your industry, thus taking up more of your computational resource of your CPU even further and making the fps drop even more that it already is, why not mod your own ship to increase the yield to fill in that 50% so that you don't need to tank the fps even more?
