With the new list of tabs on the left there should be a logbook.
I'm sorry but this game isn't so user friendly
No it is not.
and even in the log its hidden among other notices. There should be a combat notice tab.
Xgames have always been quite unfriendly to new players, with a big learning curve and little information
I used to do that. But scrolling through thirty pages is no fun when there's thirty or forty hours between ship losses. Traders and miners, anyway. Combat ships are a dime a dozen when you're printing them for free.
They really need to have pilots and crew flee to a nearby friendly station and call for pickup though. I would be annoyed if I lost a four star pilot
It's not the ships that matter. They are free at this point in the game. It's the pilots that are a problem.
