Is there a Log?
Hi all, is there a log where to check if a ship has been destroyed (if i can't see it) or a list of all incoming money operation?

Press player information on the top center of the map.

With the new list of tabs on the left there should be a logbook.

Thank you! You changed my life! :-)
I'm sorry but this game isn't so user friendly

No it is not. :steamsad:

and even in the log its hidden among other notices. There should be a combat notice tab.
The log has a ton of info. Multiple lines per minute, and info you're looking for can get buried. The search filter works good. If I want to know if I gained rep, I type "gained". If I want to see the last time one of my ships was destroyed, I type "destroyed", and so on.

you can also check the Property Owned tab on the left of regular map to see all your ships in a quick list. to see if one is missing. double click a ship in the list enough and it will show you on the map where it is for interaction.

is easy to spot if a ship was destroyed though even if ya scroll quickly and glance, as all ship death is in red and quite noticeable

Xgames have always been quite unfriendly to new players, with a big learning curve and little information

That doesn't work so good when there's 100+ ships in that list.

I used to do that. But scrolling through thirty pages is no fun when there's thirty or forty hours between ship losses. Traders and miners, anyway. Combat ships are a dime a dozen when you're printing them for free.

you leaving the game on for days at a time? can filter out most of the crap by looking at the maint tab saves a lot of searching

I don't care if traders or miners get wiped since I can just buy new ones

They really need to have pilots and crew flee to a nearby friendly station and call for pickup though. I would be annoyed if I lost a four star pilot

Things get buried when you're doing ten line items per minute, and each page only covers fifteen minutes. Each drop is three lines. If you want to click ineffective tabs instead of searching, that's up to you. I didn't post it to argue with you. If I go take a shower, I want to come back and see if anything bad happened while I was gone, for example. I've got better things to do than scroll page after page looking for red letters. I type "destroyed", and now I've got a clean list of everything I want in two seconds flat.

It's not the ships that matter. They are free at this point in the game. It's the pilots that are a problem.
