Progress is :
Crystal Hunt -> Autominer -> More Autominers -> Station
OR
Crystal Hunt -> 4x M Tradeships filled with Marines -> Capture and sell Cap Ships
The Buffalo is the best imo! With mods you can get it to be really quite fast in travel mode.
I cant recommend using them using them to auto sell though as they have a tendency to make trades that dont make good use of their cargo capacity. That and Ms are generally so much faster.
do manual trade , use fitler to sort out whats being bought in large numbers
use scout/satelite to see updated offers
lets say you got 20000 hull products in demand by npc wharf
load em bad boys up , que em up for several runs and rack MILLIONS !!!
use Shuyaku ( faster less cargo ) or Incarcatura
ohh secure certain areas where might be pirates with partols pref destoyer or 2 and some S ships
just right now got a buffalo and incarcatura together, found a big order on silicon wafers. buffalo was doing 370k on 1 run and inca 1 mil +
The Buffalo (Split) for any automatic trades (Trader or Station Assigned) because auto never fully utalizes cargo space & it is both fast and well defended against minor hazards.
The Incarcatura Sentinel (Antigone) for manual station building because it has the biggest cargo hold I could find. The thing may take forever to perform its job but its less tedious to use when manually filling Build Storage for new stations (as I usually produce all the parts myself & can't seem to get Build Storage to respect faction trading bans).
If I need an L Trader before I can aquire either of those, I usually go with one of the Teladi ones since I like the way they look :P
Pretty much this. They only produce a trickle of income, which is only useful in the very beginning to make money. After that they work better to help a sector build its economy, which is great if you want to indirectly help a faction hold their space without angering their enemy.
Build food and medical supplies in a factory at first. It's cheap and will feed the workforce as you add more production lines or build more stations. Advanced Electronics and Claytronics are the real money makers, although Claytronics takes a pretty heavy initial investment to get into. Eventually ship building is where its at. You can mark up sales to other factions 150% and they line up all day to pay millions for small fighters and miners.
Only about 1/3 staffed and this thing already makes me so much money. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2068654072
Not for making a profit but for distributing certain good around the systems
Auto traders don't fill up goods which I find bad if your using an L size Trader Ship but distribute wares do fill up cargo so I find it good for L size Trader Ship
I would sometimes make 1-3 million per sale. Sometimes. Other times only 100k to 500k.
Gave it up once stations started making me tons, wasn’t worth the time. Basic pocket change.
