Damage should be 2-4k per shot and about 62k DPS for the L turrets. Tbf I cant check ingame, cuz im on RVO mod.
It would make sense if that were the case, but I know for a fact each shot that hits me is doing
well over 10k damage a shot. (I can watch my shield/hull levels as I'm hit by a single station turret.) And L plasma turrets show a fire rate of just 0.62 shots per second. (argon) Meaning they should be doing WAY less than 62k DPS.
PS: Ah, you said DPS but you meant DPM. 62k would be normal then if it's per minute. But the turrets in-game do WAY more damage than that. A single L plasma is currently doing 50k damage to my raptor in just 12 seconds or so.
But to be fair I think at 1.0 it didn't even have stats on them, at least I remeber that being the case making it hard to guess wich ones I should have used on launch.
Also you talking about per turret or in total? Because normally when I am hit by large turrets its the large Pulse, and its more then one at once, those Ks and Is really tear into my sheilds fast with just pulse weapons if I don't snipe the damn things first, but the mediums are complete joke to my sheilds
There is a reason HOP is super dangours theirs are the more aggressive model of Odysee and its hands down one the most offinsive ships in the game, not K level but man even the rattle snakes that cost a fortune are not as tuff.
I still find that Rattlesnakes have a lot more firepower than even the Odissey though.
Really? Thats bizarre tho, because the DPS of most turrets is pretty close (only with plasma being the outlier).
But yeah DPS numbers in most games dont combine shot damage and AOE, thatll also change things.
Man I wanna test but as said, Im on VRO. I think that mod specifically set out to make capital ships and even M-class ships much tougher.
