Scan xenon ship transporting energy cells?

I've scanned a lot of P and M's for kicks, even some weird ship looking like a triangle, no avail, xenon miners too doesn't have it, I've never seen a xenon trade ship... do they even exist? i'm just looking at the wrong place?

I have a similar quest that wants me to scan a xenon ship transporting ore. I read somewhere on the forum that they have mining ships to supply their shipyard. I’m guessing they have energy transporters too

resurrecting this, because I have the same problem (scan a ship with ore), but is the information correct? So that basically means, one has to go into Xenon space find an ore "freighter" scan it.
I found various threads and also some let's plays, the latter usually skipped the mission or I missed them doing it.

I'd advice to skip all those "scan ship for ware XYZ" missions. This stuff is purely random and those particular missions aren't worth the trouble. Not even as part of a guild mission.

Maybe some day you will encounter a Xenon S miningship or S energy transporter for those missions.

Ive def had red xenon ships carrying ore or power, look at the icon type on the map if they are the rounded tip with one line i think (not looking just remembering) then they should be miners with ore or moving energy

Unfortunately they usually hang out in areas where there are a lot of Xenon, like their space or space they are trying to take over. But occasionally you can find them breaking out and trying to mine or scout alone the areas around those sectors.

I was (un)lucky and one actually showed up in a friendly sector, but it seems it was empty. Well, at least I got 20K for killing it.

xenon carrying ore and energy cells ... wait at a place where the xenon are building a station, the supply ships will be back and forth frequently to drop stuff off at the depot
