Shield Recharge Rate and Delay

Is there any information regarding these stats? Is it directly related to the max shields, or different between factions?

The shield recharge rate is listed in the encyclopedia entries for each shield. I don't know about the delay though.

I find it hilariously stupid how M class shields have a lower recharge rate than S class shields.

Perhaps they don't list the delay because it is the same for all of them?

so far i know only S/M shield have delay and L/LX are constant but correct me if im wrong ^_^

L XL shields where changed and had a delay. But now doesnt.
As far as i know the fastest speed till the shield starts to go regenerate is in order Split>Paranid>Argon>Teladi. Ofc only for S/M ships. Where Service crew will change delay,charge time,charge power to my knowledge.

it's how it was been in every X-game. Larger shield - lower recharge rate. I'm sure that recharge rating higher for XL, then for smaller shields in absolute values. But it feels lower cause XL shield capacity is much bigger.

Did a test once on small shields and it seems that split take 8 seconds, paranid take 10, argon take 12, and teladi take 14 seconds before shields start recharging. Didnt try for M sheilds.
