Usually stations only have 1 data leak (Blueprint, discounts...) and 1 signal leak (Hidden missions) at most.
Until u use emp bomb then u have usually guaranteed 3-4 leaks
EMP bombs always spawn 4 leaks (though sometimes they're inside the model so you can't see all of them).
Thats wrong (at least to what i can see with the signal finder mod). The average station has ~3-4 data leaks and ~2-3 signal leaks.
Dataleak (the one with the red orb glowing)
Commleaks (the one with static and voice talking)
Dataleaks give blueprints and discounts
Commleaks give illegal mission to establish blackmarket and things of that nature.
Wow, I had no idea there were 2 different kinds of leaks. So how do commleaks work? You just answer them when in range? or do you still see the sparking thing and have to move close to it?
Same way data leak work you use the sound wave indicator in the middle of your screen to find them and while in shift 2 just get close to it.
once you scan it someone will probably comm you saying do you want this mission and you press f to see what it is
You can usually tell by the sound and the look to tell a dataleak and commleak apart.
Data leaks are more of the long rectangular shape and expose wires with a red blinking orb (if it turned correctly lol)
Comm leaks are more curved shape with sparks flying out of it (also brownish color).
