Deposit inventory for FLEET or SELECTION

Can we get a function in the menu that sends ships to drop their inventory off at the HQ or the player if they hold any items? Looting is a pretty big part of the game, and even with a fast ship it's a pain to have a single captain pick things up, but it's even more painful to use your whole fleet to gather items because now you have to select each ship individually, check if they picked something up and either teleport to them to collect it, or tell them to drop it off at HQ one by one.

A simple if(inventory not empty) do "drop inventory at HQ" context menu option when selecting multiple ships would be such a huge quality of life improvement and the logic is already in the game.

Am I missing something and is this somewhere in the game already? Just automatically gathering inventories in the Auxiliary ship when auto-repairing would solve so much already.

such a thing already exists... you can filter ships for any Inventory Items they may hold.

if ships show up in the relevant tab, no matter if they are attached to a fleet or station (the list should never be very long from my experience) you can simply right click the relevant ships directly from that list and issue a "drop your stuff at HQ" command.

for anything else, i'm sorry... if its not an inventory item you have to do the normal trade orders.

I don't see any such filters under the filters options though. I also don't know what they hold since the pickup is automatic. I have hundreds of small ships in my fleet and the only thing that even shows the context menu for dropping inventory items at HQ is selecting them individually. If I select 2 ships with items to drop off, it's gone.
