You can expand the station and see each module instead of question marks
Scanning data leaks however can give decent discounts with a chance for an amazing one.
With research it will give you blueprints as well
Comm leaks give illegal mission
If you're about emp blueprints you can check what you've got from in-game encyclopedia "blueprints -> modules"
Aside emp leaks you can scan mosules/data leaks using ship only.
What information exactly is added by scanning a module to 100% via spacesuit as opposed to scanning a little lower from your spaceship?
I didn't really notice anything so far. But I'm usually just interested in their storage manifests, if anything at all.
Just use the ship and fly around the station and it auto scan
Scanning all modules via spacesship does not bring you to 100%, but rather something like 80-90%. It's enough to reveal all the info I've ever looked for. But...
Scanning, or even rescanning, all the modules via spacesuit does get the information to 100%. I just have no idea where the difference is, or why there is a difference at all.
(Also, either trade subsciptions or reputation above a certain point will reveal station info to 100%, too. I guess its reputation basedd, but not sure right now).
by the way.. if you don't want to scan a station you can achieve the 100% scan by simply climbing the reputation ladder up to the absolute maximum...
Is it random which information gets unlocked? Or is there an order?
