How should i go about starting my space weed buisness?

I started as project genesis as i wanted to see how that story played out. Now that i am able to go off on my own, id like to set up a station somewhere and start producing this. I am wondering. How much capital(money) would i need to start this venture. and would i need to build multiple stations for this? the game is very confusing to me outside of trading and combat missions lol.

Well do note it's illegal to transport space weed in some sectors.

start with producing energy cells and work your way to the space weed so you can be sure you're producing all the supplies you need to make it. for the cells I'd suggest around 10 million.

as a very serious hint... without demand you will oversaturate the market and end up with virtually no customers.

make sure you open up some Markets for your... medicinal ...Produce before considering to actually build such a Station.

I hadn't considered this. I will make sure to branch out into the medical stuff maybe.

with "medicinal" i meant your spaceweed... and i hid the hint that you should open up Blakmarkets to have a reliable customer base. ;)

You do it, by scanning stations accepting the signal leak, then delivering the often blackmarket item requested to a shady guy at the bar.

added further details:

If you check the missions details it should say something like "access to unsanctioned trade offers" in the mission rewards. note that some request unstable crystals for weapons research or goods like fine meals those do not unlock it, unless its specified in the rewards.

Listen to this. I did exactly that. Now everyone has it...and I have nowhere to sell it. My spaceweed empire dreams crushed.
