[Solved]Strange Clicking/Locking Noise following me
I recently started getting a strange noise and it occurs every so often, at first it was only when walking around on medium ships, but ever since I got my Destroyer, It got louder and keeps following me, it sounds like some kind of mechanism/lock you'd typically hear from Sci-Fi doors, and it won't go away.

Only sound mods I have are ones that shut the RCS and Thrusters up on Medium - XL ships because they're headache inducing and extremely loud, but I don't believe they're the issue, I had this locking sound before I got these mods.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm close to just turning off almost all sound in this game, if I had to say, it really needs to be improved on among other infuriating things like the AI Pathing locking my ship in an undock state because they don't know how to reverse or rotate 180* and as a result not letting me commandeer it to fix their stupidity.

I get those sounds too on M> ships. I think they're turrets sounds.

It's a bug.

It's the sound of turrets activating/deactivating and targeting even NPCs walking around your cockpit.

Hmm Alright, I had a suspicion it was the turrets.. hopefully it gets fixed, 2.2 just dropped, but sadly doesn't list the issue.

maybe it works as intended but it's annyoing as hell. But the whole sound-fx needs improvement. You don't hear a thing in a huge battle because sounds get faded out at distance to fast. No it's not realism ;)

Well if ya wanna talk 'Realism' there'd be no sound at all other than some muffled noises, it is space afterall. lol,

but I do get what you mean, the Sound Effects design in this game needs work, I've already got about 4 mods to fix some of the issues, including this one and I feel like I'm in heaven now that the noise is gone.
