Xenon turret hunting mission
I decided to be responsible, gathered a destroyer squadron, commenced assault on xenon sector, wiped out 2 "I" and dozen of "K" and lord-knows-how many dozens of small ships (that kept incoming drom nearby sector with wharf) ...you probably see where I'm getting, right?

Really? The game punished me with mission fail, because I blasted the whole station with all those turrets?
I don't get it, someone in crew seriously expected me/player to dance around station (S/M ship) with all those xenon ships that flood xenon sector as they do, and to try to shoot down all turrets (probably several dozens of them)? And not die in a process?
Or you expected me to bring enough firepower (L ships) to clear the way throu the whole damn xenon fleet, I include, but you also expected me to NOT blow the station, but instead use that kind of firepower for sniping turrets?

Guys, that's just pervert, I'm sorry, but it is. And I'm sad, because it took quite some time, only to be slapped in the face with "mission failed" in the log.

i'm sorry for your failed mission but destroying the station was simply not what your mission giver has asked for.

maybe they wanted to just weaken it to commence some studies on it?
who knows? i sadly don't have memorized all possible mission descriptions.

anyway, some advise for the next turret mission you may eventually accept.

first, snipe the turrets, wait for the success sound and your payment and finally screw the mad mission giver who asked you to "only kill the turrets" by destroying the station regardless.

Not arguing here, that's true. I just didn't expect it literally be like this.

That's pretty obvious solution, I get it. It's just a hundred or so xenon ships that would disagree. Not to mention station defence drone swarm. Simply to have a window to do the job requires to make full scale cleansing. Then whole heap of turrets under different angles requiring ritual dancing.

Nope, sorry, such frustrating tasks go into blacklist straight away. Too much time wasting.

I say, I had to destroy enemy sector fleet, capital ships include, with all reinforcements and free a sector, to prepare some random single station so someone could commence studies. Right. That's not how it should work. And the fact, that I can destroy it straight away after getting success sound and payment, but not a second before, is example of someones bad writing (please, no offense).

Yeah I don't blame you. I would find killing the station easier, than navigating all the turrets (with a S/M ship) and hoping not to be blapped by some L turret or the swarm of random fighters. MAYBE I would do it in a good destroyer that can fend off the rest, while I select down the turrets at range... but yeah. Not something I'd be keen on doing.

I had a turret mission and I was like "how many"? But I guess mid game players have enough cash flow and force to hold a Border Xenon sector. Sniping W long range weapons. Few good options for those.
