maybe they wanted to just weaken it to commence some studies on it?
who knows? i sadly don't have memorized all possible mission descriptions.
anyway, some advise for the next turret mission you may eventually accept.
first, snipe the turrets, wait for the success sound and your payment and finally screw the mad mission giver who asked you to "only kill the turrets" by destroying the station regardless.
That's pretty obvious solution, I get it. It's just a hundred or so xenon ships that would disagree. Not to mention station defence drone swarm. Simply to have a window to do the job requires to make full scale cleansing. Then whole heap of turrets under different angles requiring ritual dancing.
Nope, sorry, such frustrating tasks go into blacklist straight away. Too much time wasting.
I say, I had to destroy enemy sector fleet, capital ships include, with all reinforcements and free a sector, to prepare some random single station so someone could commence studies. Right. That's not how it should work. And the fact, that I can destroy it straight away after getting success sound and payment, but not a second before, is example of someones bad writing (please, no offense).
