Playable with gtx 1650?
Guys, I'm upgrading my computer to try to play this game, currently with my specs it's absolutely unplayable

GTX 1650 / I7 3770K

I'm upgrading the processor, I saw some comments that the processor plays a bigger role in this game, so I chose to get an I5 10400F

I know there are better ones, but that's what I got for now, do you think it should allow for a reasonable FPS average?

I have 32GB of RAM, and approximately 12GB available for games (I use my PC for work too and it requires a lot of memory)

just for the sake of it... i personally run the game on the specs below:

Windows 10 Pro
AMD FX-8350 8xCore @4GHz
32 GB (4x8GB) Dual Channel DDR3 @800MHz (11-11-11-28)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 S (6 GB VRam)

i think your PC should be totally fine to run the game...

Should do i'm running a GTi 1050/i7 3660 and graphics seams ok, yes i know this is low but it works till i up grade later this year.

WYI i'd stick with i7 or i9 mid-high end, dropping down to a i5 seams you're lowering the bar a bit, mind you it's your choice on what you want.

I understand that, is that I really needed a more current processor, I hope that this way I avoid any possible bottlenecks in future upgrades, anyway at some point I intend to go back to the I7, however in a new generation.

Wow I tried to play but the first few minutes were impossible, I couldn't move without noticing a sudden fall.

I will try again with any extra process closed on my PC, if it works I will be very happy the game is amazing, congratulations. I currently follow you on YouTube channels.

For reference, your rig's nominally a little better than mine and the game's perfectly playable without DLC.

If your workload is actually *using* that ram, as in actively sucking up memory bandwidth while you play, though, you're going to have a problem.

Try playing vanilla, no dlc's, to reduce the cpu/memory demand. If it's *still* unplayable then you've got memory bandwidth trouble, either interference from your work or just crap memory. Both of those are fixable :-)

That GPU should be fine, you can turn on FSR to get more eye candy, I like FSR's Quality setting with everything on more than full-super-crisp but most else off.

I was also looking for references on Discord and I really believe that the problem may be the memory itself, I will also test the game without the dlc's.

I'm re-downloading the game on the SSD and I'll try to finish any heavy process that before opening it, so if everything goes well I'll come back here with good news.

About FSR, I didn't know, I'll activate it

Guys, updating on the performance...
I continue to have a sudden drop in FPS, mainly in seasons (but I think this was expected), I'm having a very large ship population too.

Despite everything, it's playable after I finish some heavy processes, I'll hope the processor change improves performance too.

Thanks for the comments guys.

game will typically bottleneck off cpu and engine limitations. Not gpu. So your 3770k will be an issue long before the 1650.

lmfao.
"new crisis" Not even close.

I am still using a 1060 and can play on max settings until mid game. I have an i9-9900KF cpu though.
