Never use SETA. You never need it in this game - there is always something to do. It ruins so many aspects of how the game works, weird stuff happens with the factions too. They only added it because so many people whined for it. It is silly in X4.

i do not have any problem with it. just the FPS goes down to about 50%

Did you build in avarice sectors where the flood could possibly destroy them?

word of advice dont do it you will notice at some point but then it will be too late.
Especially for prolonged phases.

i know i know, you aren´t the first one to say this even from the game mod i heard it...
well there is sinza so i am using it. but i didnt mod my vanilla game. i see tons of people being modded having probs and some none modded only have some no-serious bugs even when using sinza.

maybe this is what happened to one of my stations earlier, went back to one of my HQ and about 1/3 the moduals were just missing, not destroyed, just gone, never had it happen again and was wondering what caused it but was using seta allot around that time.

Never ever use SETA/SINZA... it will bug your game entirely and isn't added to the game for your "normal" playthrough, but for fooling around.

It wasn't even part of the "base game" in earlier versions since it wasn't needed because we have travelmode (SETA/SINZA was basicly the travelmode of earlier games like X3).

it got added later because some people asked for it at forums to get it back.

Devs answered their request by adding it, but locked it behind some grind so people don't use it mindlessly and come to forums on a daily basis moaning about bugged playthroughs or economy crashes.

Basicly SETA/SINZA is supposed to never get used at all.... except you want to fool around and want to see how many bugs can occur in a single playthrough (it's somehow like an easteregg).

You should use its parts for small profits every now and then:winter2019happybulb:

but that has nothing to do with SETA. I'm using a heavily modded game and i have never had any problems caused by using SETA. You can only see many interesting things, if you either use way to much time or use SETA to make that waiting shorter. Im focussing on an economic/faction building approach, so it fits my playstile perfectly. i know some people like more action, but to be honest, the x series wasnt made for that.

true. I think those talks about bugs caused by SETA are just a hoax. There can be bugs in the game, there can be bugs caused by mods, but how can there be bugs by a tool, that literally just speeds up the game? The bugs you can see there, would also have happened, if you play normally and wait in real time.

Dunno which causing it, but for ne only pathfinding really can get bugged from sinza but that ist all i have when that Happens i Just wait 1 Minute real time and it works again. And i am using 50-60% sinza Minimum when playing die to Trades and such.

Also Modding do a Lot of Problems as Well in many (not all) Case it seems.

Also i think it depends in The System configuration as Well. My Windows and Hardware ist modfied to max stabilisation in its settings and my mobile Chipsets works really Well since i Set it myself up. While keeping Maximum FPS possible.

My friend has almost The Same Set Up Just Other RAM and another bigger PCIe SSD and there is a Lot of differnces we have when gaming Like He/i do have Problem The Others doesnt has in The very Same Game since we so habe different Windows and Hardware Settings
