Is the transaction log bugged, or am I goofing?

Okay, this is something I remember from way back when I last played. I send out ships, they do their trading thing, but when I check a ships transaction log it always looks like they're losing me massive amounts of money despite my personal account saying otherwise.

For instance, I just sent a fresh mining ship out to mine nividium. It loaded up and sold it to a station. But in the trade log, every positive transaction is paired with a negative one of the same amount.
What's up with this?

the negative transactions you see is the payout from that ship to either its home station (for station traders / miners) or onto your personal account (for anything thats not bound to a station).

if you want to see if you loose money.. you have to check your empire wide transaction log... to be found in the player information Menu.

Ah, I see. Is there a way to filter out "profit from trade orders"? As far as I can tell, I can filter to show keywords, but not hide keywords.
