I haven´t reached it with terrans in 150 hours (stuck on 29) but I haven´t done any war quests only trading and that might be the problem.
Getting to 30 which is not even an alliance but BFF status should be difficult without questgrinding.
I steal all blueprints that are above 2 mil so the only ones that are expensive to buy are the ship fabrication modules and those need to be expensive because the game is basically "over" if you got those. Once you can build your own ships (with own supply chains) there is nothing left to do economically so these need to be that expensive.
EDIT:
A nice alternative for the ship fabrications would be to find an abandoned one which would need a huge amount of ressources to restore, kinda like terraforming. That way you wouldn´t need to save hundreds of millions of credits instead of investing them again. But that is a topic for a mod :)
I am not surprised you got nothing left to do.
Activate some wars between factions and side with some factions to take out other factions, this gets you to a complete new level.
It will be much much harder and requires "a lot" more money compared to a war against the easypeasy Xenons.
Xenons are the easiest faction to wipe out.
Blueprint prices are fine imo.
And Module-Blueprints you can get most for free anyway with EMPs.
As for reputation to +30, yes this can take a very very long time.
Don't Cheat, you gonna destroy the entire fun for yourself.
But you can ofc. do whatever you want.

for the initial question of this topic... every trade your ships do will give you a itty bitty tiny reputation increase... to get to 30 you just need bazillions of them.
it is faster were you main base of operations is.. or in the systems yu may call your home system..
you can also do missions... do a mission here and a mission there... this works as well.
or you take on build missions... usually defence station build missions pay out very well and come with a good reputation reward.
regarding EMP bombing and blueprint stealing.. that requires your HQ and research in the different Blueprint fields... like in the guide McMuffin posted.
also.. the better your relations the higher the discounts you get... and if you own systems your 28+ allies will even send patrols to your sectors.. to protect YOU.
from cheating from the get go to reducing your cheats slowly is an increase in game difficluty for you..
so.. don't be in a hurry...
and the secrets of blueprint bombing/scanning and some missions will wait until you want to get them... you know the place for tips & tricks and answers already.
don't worry.. we are here and we will answer all your questions when they arise... as said, take it easy and slow for the time being.
do what you enjoy for the moment, and cheat the heck out of the annoying stuff...
